The world was at peace one night, under the moon
All except one little boy in his room
the boy tossed and turned and cried for his dad
"what's wrong, mah boy? Was it some dream you had?"
Every night i have bad dreams, and the days are no better
the boy said, wiping tears with the sleeve of his sweater
The bullies at school all kick me and spit
and the teachers don't seem to care, not one bit
the janitor curses, the principle yells
the other kids poke me and tell me I smell
I have a crush on this girl in my class
I gave her a flower, she pushed me and laughed!
Why are they mean papa, why aren't they nice?
I hate the other kids, and I hate my whole life
I don't wanna go back, school is the nightmare
The world outside scares me, I want to stay right here!
The father sighed and said, "son listen well"
the truth is you're right, the real world is hell
People are awful, it's not your fault
and it's always that way, even when you're an adult
Those bully's in school, they never do stop
They become judges, bosses, and cops,
they'll hurt you and push you, till you finally crack
and they'll throw you in jail if you try to fight back
People are animals, savage and cruel
ugly, and rude, all over the world
People are all out to get you somehow
They don't think of your feelings, they don't even know how
It never does stop, even when you grow up
in fact it gets worse, the whole world is corrupt
the human race is a vile disease
all people are scum, even you, even me
But my son, there's an upside to all of this
You see one day, All this, will cease to exist
The bombs will drop, and the locusts will swarm
the planet will freee, or perhaps get too warm
However it happens people will die
Those bastards at school, even you and I
I know it sounds scary, I know it seems grim
But son, you will never be bullied again
You will never be frightened, or face any strife
and those who survive, will live a new life
You'll become one with the earth, and the planet will prosper
Once it's been cleansed, of the human monster
The boy was not comforted, not in the slightest
his skin turned white, he said father I'm frightened
I'll go to school father, just say it's not true!
Will I really be dead too? Father, Will you?
And with that, Daddy Wyndham, took off his skin
He laughed and said "son, I already am"
